Lydia Millner, PT, DPT, CMP, CKTP
Lydia Millner earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ. She believes in utilizing scientific research, clinical experience and each patient's goal to achieve functional outcomes.
Since completing her Doctorate she continues to study specialty approaches and techniques to assist patients with recovery and rehabilitation of pathologies and injuries. She has certifications in ART, Mulligan, Kinesiotaping and completed courses in Dry Needling, Mackenzie, Maitland, McConnell taping and Hippotherapy. She applies her extended knowledge of varied techniques such as myofascial release, joint mobilizations, trigger point therapies, taping, strain counter strain, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and functional training to assist patients towards their goals for a comprehensive recovery and return to function. Combining her advanced manual skills with neuromuscular and exercise re-education, she promotes optimal recovery and performance for her patients functional outcomes.
Lydia is convinced in her belief of continuing education and research improving the quality of her field. She is an APTA trained clinical instructor and coordinating intern rotations, which offers us the latest knowledge on research and access to areas currently being studied to improve outcomes for our patients. When not assisting her patients and students, Lydia is an avid equestrian.
