What is Pre and Post Operative Rehabilitation?

Pre-operative physical therapy may be directed by your physician prior to surgery in order to maximize joint motion, optimize strength and improve endurance which will contribute to better post operative recovery.

During your post-op evaluation your physical therapist will conduct a thorough examination and evaluation of your pain, movement, strength, lifestyle, limitations and goals. The evaluation will follow guidelines directed by your physician.
